Music touches people’s lives in so many different ways. It can calm them, make them happy, make them cry, make them want to dance and sing. It brings a tremendous sense of relief from other distractions and it is a truly wonderful therapy for our students. The benefits of music in our lives are well documented and researched.

We have a music therapist who comes into school for a few hours a week. She works with students on an individual basis as well as larger group sessions. We were delighted to receive a grant from the Radcliffe Trust – one of the oldest charitable foundations in the country – to supplement our music resources and instruments.

The Music Man Project works with children and adults with learning difficulties – have a look at what they can do!
